Privacy Policy

What this policy covers

This policy covers the public ChurchBoard marketing website. It does not replace the privacy policies of GitHub, YouTube, Planning Center, ProPresenter, Restream, or other services you may choose to visit or connect to ChurchBoard.

Information collected by the website

The marketing website does not ask you to provide a name, email address, payment information, or account details. It does not use advertising trackers or create an advertising profile.

Basic hosting logs

Like most web hosts, the hosting provider may automatically create short-term technical logs when it delivers the site. These may include an IP address, browser type, date and time, requested page, referring page, and error information. These logs are used for security, reliability, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention—not advertising or cross-site tracking.

Optional website analytics

Analytics is not currently configured. If an analytics provider is enabled later, it may collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, referring page, and visit timing. Optional analytics will be blocked unless you actively allow it. The site will not use analytics consent for advertising, ad personalization, or selling information.

Your choice will be stored in your browser so the site can remember it. You can change that choice using the “Privacy choices” button that appears when analytics is active. See the Cookie Policy for provider and retention details once a provider is selected.

Links and downloads

Download buttons and documentation links take you to GitHub. The video-tour button takes you to YouTube. The optional personal-support link takes you to Venmo. Those services receive information when you choose to visit them and apply their own privacy policies. ChurchBoard does not embed those services on this site, so they are not contacted merely because you open this website.

Children’s privacy

This website is intended for churches, worship leaders, and production teams. It is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Sale or sharing of information

ChurchBoard does not sell personal information or share it for behavioral advertising. Because the marketing website does not intentionally collect visitor-submitted personal information, it does not offer account-based access, correction, or deletion tools.

Security

The site is designed to minimize privacy risk by collecting as little information as possible. No internet transmission or hosting system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Changes to this policy

Before analytics is enabled, this policy and the Cookie Policy must be updated with the selected provider, purposes, cookies or identifiers, retention period, and relevant opt-out information. The effective date above will show the latest revision.

Questions

For general privacy questions, open an issue on the ChurchBoard project page. Do not post passwords, credentials, private service information, or security vulnerabilities publicly. Report security concerns using the instructions in the security guidance.
